Being an Essential Worker

Being a nurse in the middle of a pandemic is no walk in the park. It’s not easy working at a Skilled Nurse Facility, but I’m thankful that I still have a job. I can still put food on the table, and a roof over my head. Not many people can do that. Many are laid off, and lost their jobs. Some people are working from home. Be thankful for what we have. Honestly, I’m drained. It’s exhausting, but this is what I gotta do. I don’t consider myself a healthcare hero, because I don’t think I am.
