These memes amuse me, and help me relieve some stress. Laughter is the best medicine, and as someone who works in the medical field, I need to loosen up a little. Gotta have a sense of humor.
I feel like I’m being called out here. I’m not married, nor do I have any children, but I am talking to someone special. That’s another topic for another day.
Ain’t nobody got time to do some calculations. Most RNs have to do this, especially if they have an IV drug to administer to the patient.
Us nurses have to keep our shit together. Literally and metaphorically.
It’s definitely not a sight one wants to see. The smell doesn’t help, and it smells bad.
Why? Well, what can a nurse do? I know many patients who have took their IV off. Having it reinserted is no easy task.
I don’t hang out with my coworkers as much as I used to. School got in the way. Not like I get invited all the time. As an ambivert, I don’t mind going out, but I don’t want to go out all the time. It’s exhausting.
For those who don’t work in the medical field, don’t rely on the television. It’s not 100% accurate. Even though I’m not an RN, I know this is not the right way to insert an IV.
We still have to do the N95 mask fitting.
This is why I work the NOC shift. This is one of the reasons why I don’t work on the PM anymore. I like the PM because I’m not a morning person, but the downside to it is that the family members eye’s are on you. I don’t like it when they’re watching me do nursing stuff.
Men should know what they’re getting themselves into before deciding to date a nurse. There are downsides to dating a nurse. Get ready to hear about gross stuff, and deal with it.
